The release of this year’s A-level results has set a new record for Brighton College, with our Sixth Formers once again excelling to deliver an astonishing set of grades.
We are so pleased to say that:
- 42% of our grades were A*, a College record (versus 8% nationally)
- Our most common grade was an A*
- 20% of pupils got three A*s (or equivalent) or more
- Over half of our Upper Sixth achieved A*/A in their subjects
Head Master Richard Cairns said of the leaving Upper Sixth: “This was a year group whose company I hugely enjoyed and will greatly miss… I am thrilled for all of them”.
It was fantastic to see so many happy girls and boys, and happy parents too, at the College yesterday. We’re all looking forward to seeing what their futures hold!
