It was a pleasure to welcome Alan Freeman (Ch. 1961-65) back to the College this month, where he presented Head of Physics Rory Cooper with some new equipment to the Physics Department.
The astronomical telescope has a 5 inch reflector and equatorial mount and the boys and girls will now be able to see the craters on the moon on a clear evening!
After Brighton, Alan went on to study Physics at Worcester College, Oxford, making this a very fitting gift back to the school.
We are all thrilled with Alan's kind donation and it will be put to good use on the rooftop of our new School of Science and Sport.
