Glyndebourne Festival Opera 2011 opens on Saturday 21st May 2011, with performances throughout the summer until Sunday 28th August.  As ever, the stage is set for a stunning season, with a rich programme from Britten to Handel, offering the ultimate theatrical experience.

In collaboration with Glyndebourne, we have been able to secure a fantastic priority booking offer for Old Brightonians, allowing you to purchase tickets ahead of their release to the general public. You can take advantage of these exclusive booking rights between  Monday 21st February and Friday 4th March, before tickets go on sale to the public on 26th March.

Highlights of the festival include Robert Carsen directing a new production of Rinaldo, continuing Glyndebourne’s exploration of Handel operas.  Danielle De Niese sings the role of Adina in Annabel Arden’s L’elisir d’amore and Melly Still’s 2009 Festival production of Rusalka is revived, conducted by Sir Andrew Davis.  Jonathan Kent’s 2006 Festival production of The Turn of the Screw returns, with Glyndebourne on Tour Music Director Jakub Hrŭša conducting all performances.
