H B M Falck died on 27 March 2009, aged 96. His son, David, writes, "He had such happy memories of his time at Brighton College and remained an avid reader of the Pelican.
My father had a very happy temperament and enjoyed a long and wonderful life. Even so, he would have counted his days at Brighton College amongst his happiest."
