I wanted to drop you a line after returning from Tanzania to thank you for your donations towards "Mt Kili Madness", specifically Cancer Research UK. I'm nearing an overwhelming £9,000 so with a fundraising dinner still to come, I should go beyond £10,000 which was beyond my wildest expectations.
The climb was the most beautiful, awe-inspiring and toughest experience of my life. If you ever find yourself with the opportunity to do it, all I can say is grab it with both hands. I wrote a blog for the ECB website to try to capture the experience but it was beyond capturing really.
