As part of our commemorations of Brighton College's 175th anniversary, our College Archivist, James Harrison, will be providing a virtual lecture on the history of the School.
This lecture will provide an entertaining and informative overview of the College’s history, from its foundation in 1845, through periods of prosperity and near-bankruptcy, before navigating the dangers of the Great Depression and two World Wars, and finally by covering its recent successes amidst Brighton's own transformations as a City.
Throughout we will touch on the colourful individuals, events, and architecture that have helped to make Brighton College the success story it is today.
