Last Saturday saw the return of our 2005 leavers to the College, a decade on since they graduated as pupils. The group were welcomed back in Scott’s Café (or Café de Paris in 2005) with a glass of bubbles and some familiar faces in the form of Mr Grocott, Assistant Headmaster and Mr Smith (Common Room 1973-2011).
After a nerve-calming drink and enough time to wait for the fashionably late to turn up, the group enjoyed a tour of the College, revisiting some of their old haunts, some more recognisable than others after ten years.
We then headed off to the Ginger Dog (or the Wellington as it was in 2005… nothing stays the same!) to enjoy some delicious food and share a few more memories with Mr Whitestone (Common Room 1971-2006).
Thank you to Hannah Fish (Fe. 2000-05) for helping us organise the evening and to everyone who came along on the evening, it was lovely to catch up with you all.
