It was a cold December afternoon when we congregated at The Jones Family Project (a restaurant owned by OB Duncan Watts (Ry. 1979-84)) to enjoy a festive feast for the 2014 Pioneers Club London Luncheon.
Unfortunately there had been some delays on the Brighton to London line which meant that members of the Brighton contingent (including ourselves) arrived rather late but to a very warm welcome.
Delicious food and good company made for a lovely afternoon enjoyed by all. Christmas wishes were exchanged before we all went back out into the cold with promises to meet up again soon. Thanks go out to everyone who came and to the staff at the restaurant who looked after us so well.
A special mention should go to Gerard and Sheila Ryan who shared their 54th wedding anniversary with us that day. Warmest congratulations to you both.
